
BIO Carrie Simmons has unveiled her true calling by returning back to her roots. Born into a family of Jazz Musicians, her father a clarinet instrumentalist and her grandfather the leader of a 1940's swing band, she was deeply influenced to get into show biz. Her first professional work came at the age of six, acting in a commercial, then at 10 she won her first professional singing part. Carrie graduated from high school in Alexandria, VA then attended The Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, where she studied fine art. After earning a B.F.A she moved to New York City and thrived in the fashion industry. Hollywood had always been in the back of her mind calling, and so she finally answered. A move to Los Angeles proved itself immediately with work in film & television. She starred in MTV's True Life- I'm An Actress, booked national commercials and print campaign's but is most recognized as the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Cover Girl. Her likeness as a Cover Girl entered her into a new world. Carrie was impressed into modern culture forever. With that she achieved her first international recognition that had young gamers all over the world dying to see more of her. Carrie also started an eco friendly clothing line and owned a yoga studio. But as for her true calling, it's being an entertainer. Her special qualities are evident in her stage performance. She has an exciting vibrant personality and an independent spirit but it is her warmth that guides you on a new journey through an old familiar musical genre.
